James Hardie

Corporate Branding and Marketing

Over the past few decades, James Hardie has become the pre-eminent manufacturer of fiber cement products. Their industry-leading cement board siding is custom-made for different regional environments to best protect homes from the weather. As the company has grown over time, a more sophisticated brand took shape to properly represent its leading stature within the industry.

Our work included:

Websites

This heavily-animated sales presentation boosted conversions during the key decision-making meetings with their customers. While the new presentation was designed in Powerpoint, traditional bullet point slides were replaced with incredible, custom-designed animations that included everything from panoramic zooms to advanced time-based effects.

Brochure

A series of regional brochures were designed to clearly highlight the advantages of the products through the use of infographics.

I’ve worked with several smaller (and larger) firms and I have never seen the quality of output as I did with Beechworth Windows and James Hardie Building Products work from GDS. We would not have had the opportunity to deliver big impact work quickly if not for this firm: websites, branding/badges, print work and sales materials – it was a great partnership and even better result: cohesive design, differentiated creative elements and an execution that brought our vision to life for our customers.

Iconography

This visual system allowed customers to quickly identify which services each contractor could perform.

A series of localized postcards were mailed out to specific consumer markets that communicated why their warranty was better than the competition.

Direct Mail
Websites

With regionally-specific audiences, a series of microsites leveraged localized campaigns, as well as an online portal that communicated with its dealer network.
