The AAP meeting held in Anaheim, California, called for a bright and lively theme that captured the essence of the location. To achieve this, we created a series of cut-paper vignettes that depicted underwater ocean scenes, beaches, waterfronts, palm trees, and other features of the surrounding landscape. The cut-paper aesthetic of the motifs was chosen to reflect the connection between pediatricians and the children they care for.
Our design team created a comprehensive guide with detailed notes on fonts, illustrations, colors, and applications. This guide was a valuable resource for the various advertising and signage companies we worked with, enabling us to coordinate our efforts more efficiently. Additionally, we organized all the necessary files into a shared repository that everyone could access.
To ensure maximum attendance at the annual conference, our e-blast campaigns targeted a wide range of audience segments, including members and non-members. We started the campaign with a general awareness drive to encourage registration, and then kept all attendees informed with event updates in the run-up to the conference. Once the conference began, we sent out daily e-blasts to all attendees, whether they were participating in-person or virtually, to keep them up-to-date with all the daily events and activities.
